I hate dry chicken. This recipe makes your chicken moist and tender every time.
2 cups Sprite or club soda
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1 medium piece ginger root, sliced
3 green onions, chopped
Combine all ingredients in a zipper bag or large covered dish. Soak boneless, skinless chicken or turkey breasts, tenders or thighs overnight in the refrigerator. Grill over a hot flame just until cooked. (Do not overcook.) Discard leftover marinade.
My 8 year-old son calls this "Grandma's Chicken" and it's the only chicken he will eat.
